Different Hotels that met the necessary characteristics according to the ISGF protocols have been visited and, finally, the Meliá Avenida América has been chosen, as this Hotel belongs to a chain of accredited prestige worldwide.

We have made a great effort to adjust to the maximum the services that are offered with a gradual price, adaptable to the different purchasing powers.

Who makes up the Coordination Team of the World Conference and how is its interaction with the World Committee and the World Office?
The Organizing Committee of the 29th World Conference is made up of active people from ISGF Spain and its different Federated Associations representing the whole country.
What could give me the attendance at this World Conference?
The participation in the event would give me an overview about the great diversity of ISGF Associations worldwide and the most important projects that are currently being carried out
Does the Hotel's kitchen have specific menus for food intolerances or vegan or vegetarian options?
The Hotel has different diets that can be adapted to the different feeding options, if they are notified in adequate advance.
What kind of clothes should I wear?
Uniform and neckerchief of ISGF, comfortable and light clothing for visits, swimsuit for the Hotel pool and some more elegant clothes for the farewell dinner. There is usually no rain.
What kind of weather will we have in Madrid during the celebration of the Conference?
The weather is dry and there is usually no rain at those dates. The average temperature of 19º at night and 31º for the day. Normally, starting in the second half of August in Madrid, it begins to refresh and therefore the high summer temperatures soften goinf down. Nevertheless, both the hotel and the transports that we are going to use have air conditioned.
Will I have some difficulties if I do not speak Spanish?
Translation systems are planned in English and French, the official languages of the Conference, so that everyone can participate in debates, discussions and presentations.
How are the Spanish Timetables?
The life in the city starts around 9 a.m.(in the morning), for lunch time a bit later than in other countries, between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m., and for dinner is usually around 9:00 p.m. (in the evening),
